Can Lighting Strike Twice
You bet. The first lighting strike was when Johnny Knight decided to reinstate his legendary Portraiture and Lighting class exclusively through Richard Stromberg's Chicago Photography Classes. Many of Johnny's former students have gone on to start their own photography businesses. And like all of our faculty, Johnny is available to his students long after their study is over with him. That's why we are a "student centered" program.
And now, the second lighting strike – Bill Skinner of the century old Edward Fox Photography Wedding Studio is joining our faculty to teach our Detachable On Camera Flash class. For more than 20 years Bill has shot over 1,500 weddings for Edward Fox and has had the highest request rate of all of their photographers.
Not a silly "learn to be a wedding photographer in one day" boot camp, this 6 week class will teach you everything you will need to know about how your flash works and how to use it to its capabilities. From Guide Numbers to Balanced Fill Flash, with our weekly assignments the flash will be demystified and "learning will occur." With this class you will be well on your way to using flash to photograph weddings, special events like a work party or even your family's next holiday.
