Each Sunday: A Free 90-minute Workshop/Orientation on use of DSLR Cameras
Basic Camera Overview/Class Orientation, DSLR Camera Operation, and the Principles of Correct Exposure
This energetic lecture is often imitated but never equalled. This weekly free 90-minute workshop is designed to introduce people to proper exposure using their cameras.
Starting each Sunday at High Noon (12 PM), this 90-minute workshop will keep your attention. We include Photographic Thinking in all of our programs; the only accent here is on learning.
No camera? No worries! We have more than 20 DSLRs to loan out. And take advantage of our FREE Camera-Buying Service so that when you do buy a camera, you will make an informed decision.
Workshop each Sunday starting at High Noon (12 PM).
If you have a new Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera, need a refresher or have never attended a photography class, you should attend this workshop on Sunday at High Noon.
Or if you are thinking of purchasing a DSLR or Film (SLR) camera, our experts will help you to understand what is important and what's not important in a DSLR or film SLR camera with interchangeable lenses. Take advantage of our FREE Camera-Buying Service so that when you do buy a camera, you will make an informed decision. We know where the best prices are in the country, and if you want to save some money and buy a used camera, we know which ones to stay away from.
You will learn basic DSLR camera operation: an overview of your camera controls, use of your camera's exposure meter, and a discussion about which lens is the best value. No worries if you have a film camera because those cameras are covered too.
Be sure to bring a camera, as well as your camera manual if you have one. If you do not have a camera, don't worry, be happy, a camera will be provided for you to use during the workshop. Compare us with others and decide for yourself if Richard's photgraphic thinking and his 45 years of teaching make a difference.
